A Warm Welcome to Our Summer Interns π
First of all, we want to introduce you to our powerhouse team of interns. Theyβve joined us this summer to gain real-world experience while bringing some serious skills to our social media and marketing communications efforts.
In short, theyβre pretty awesome! π
They also happen to be members of the Public Relations Student Society of America (PRSSA), a national organization that helps future PR pros grow their skills, build connections, and more.
Based in Knoxville, Tennessee, Kiley Fenn is a senior college student studying public relations with a minor in business administration. Her passion for PR began while working with nonprofit organizations and has since expanded across a variety of industries. βI love working for EIN and look forward to the rest of the summer!β she says.
Hailing from Paducah, Kentucky, A'Mya Kendrick is heading into her final year at Eastern Kentucky University. While sheβs still exploring what comes after graduation, one thing is clear: βI love all things PR, but what really attracts me is the relationships I have built along the way,β she says.
Lilibet Kirwan is a communications and law student at American University in Washington D.C. She is passionate about language, emerging technologies, and their roles in PR. βIβm excited to be working with EIN this summer,β she says. βWhen Iβm not creating Insta posts for USPT, youβll find me playing rugby sevens or speaking French with my family.β
Press Releases Arenβt Outdated β Hereβs Proof! π―
Think press releases are from the dinosaur π¦ age? Think again.
Our data science team tracks every press release distributed through EIN Presswire β and the numbers speak for themselves.
As of May 31, more than 70,000 press releases were published across a myriad of publications and news platforms. Over the past year? 160,000+ press releases. This shows that brands are using press releases more than ever to build their narratives and reach their audiences.

Exclusive Interviews π₯
Whatβs the word on the street in public relations?
Weβve been digging into that on our EIN Presswire Substack with Heard on the Streets β where comms insiders skip the fluff and get real about the industry.
In our first edition, we talked to Sherrie Handrinos, founder of Boost 1 Marketing & PR, who reminded us that PR isnβt a magic wand β itβs about crafting real stories that actually resonate with the media.
And in another exclusive interview, we caught up with a man often touted as a βPR legend.β Michael Levine has worked with icons like Michael Jackson, Joan Rivers, and David Bowie. He shared a few lessons from his colorful, iconic career, while opening up about how he built a roster of celebrity clients while navigating life with dyslexia.

He also breaks down why press releases still work β yep, even in the age of AI β from building credibility to helping with SEO.
You donβt wanna miss it. Part two has just dropped, where Ray breaks down real-world examples of how to utilize press releases for your business.
